On Saturday 28th of April we will take you to the beautiful 'Kloster Weltenburg' and do a beer tasting at the brewery there! :biere:
The abbey is situated on a peninsula at the Danube river with an amazing view, it's the oldest monastery brewery in the world and they make beer since 1050, the "Weltenburger Kloster Barock Dunkel" is recognized as the best dark beer in the world!
We will meet at 7:30 am in front of THD Library, and drive to Kelheim and visit the Liberation Hall (commissioned by King Ludwig I, this memorial is a remembrance to victorious battles against Napoleon in the Wars of Liberation from 1813-1815).
The entry will be 3€ (not included in the price). Whoever does not want to get a look inside can relax and enjoy the amazing view, either way.
From there we will hike to the Abbey where we will get a brewery tour, beer tasting, and beautiful landscapes.
